The money collected to fund the country.
here in New Jersey everything we make for the year goes to taxes until May 9th(tax freedom day).. make sure you pay your taxes or men with guns will come to your house!
although I'm so happy that the tax man decides to give us back some of our OWN money every year...how generous lol

I could have been more specific....today is the Federal filing deadline. I'm not sure how each state handles their revenue.
BTW: I hadn't ever heard of tax freedom day. I had to look it up. I learn something new everyday.....
