This is what Loneliness, isolation and then Friendship, is all about.
Animals have the ability to feel, to hurt, to be sad, to miss, and ultimately, to be happy again, just like us. Don't tell me then, that the Animal Realm is necessarily a bad place to be.... it may be just what is needed....
This is very touching.

Now you've made me cry!!! Fortunately beside this clip there was this gorgeous youtube on funny animals playing dead that made me cry... with laughter.
It stumps me how humans can have so many misconceptions about the feelings of animals.
Only those of us who have had the privilege to share our life with animals know that they have feelings and emotions just like us.
My Siamese cat Coco passed away last year after 15 years of noble, requited love.
Our tortoises Anita and Pancho are still among us after 40 years. They'll probably be around some more. My Mum said they'll be our sole inheritance.
Isn't it just the most glorious example of Friendship being everything?!

I love this story, and it amazes me too how much we continue to underestimate animals' ability to connect. They are as lost as we are without their friends and companions.
My Black Cat died a month ago.She was just 12yrs and suffered lot by old man.
She was amazing. Missing her very badly.
I think animals are the enlightened ones, they are all in harmony with each other and other species.
We on the other hand try to conquer Mother Nature not live with it
Animals are the best teachers
I'm going to share that video, thanks @federica . It's so sweet
