Book by Lama Zopa Rinpoche
Am reading this now and enjoying it immensely. It's well written.
Has anyone else read this? What are your thoughts?

I haven't, but I've read a couple of his other works. Lama Yeshe "speaks" more to me, but I'm willing to give this one a go.
Amazing book! Highly recommend it!
I came across it through an online review and came across it again when I went to a retreat center.
It's very comprehensive, I felt. If you approach it genuinely, openly, and sincerely, there is no limit to how much it can benefit [everyone].

@Rowan1980 I will look at Lama Yeshe as well. Anything in particular?
Thank you @Rowan1980 !!!!! This looks good.
I love this book too, Rowan!
I was just about to recommend this one.
I did not read the book you recommend, @Nerima, but like Rowan, I also have a thing for Lama Yeshe, who was Lama Zopa's teacher.
There is this utterly fantastic old book co-authored by both Lama Yeshe and Lama Zopa which I highly recommend to you.
You can almost distinctly appreciate the difference in both lamas' style.
It's called "Wisdom Energy: Basic Buddhist Teachings."
And by Lama Zopa alone, "Transforming Problems into Happiness" and "How to be Happy."
Nothing earth-shattering but brings back home easy notions we tend to forget.
Thanks @Rowan1980
I'll let you know after I read them.
Some selections from Lama Zopa's "How to be Happy:"

It never grows old.
@Rowan1980 and @DhammaDragon I'm really loving the Lama Zopa readings. Very accessible and well-written!
This Lama Yeshe book stays on my nightstand.....it's a nice little read...almost in a set up of reminders/bullets...... Love it!!!

After this thread....I'll have to see what Lama Zopa is bringing to the party....
Oh wait, I had meant Lama Yeshe, @Rowan1980 and @DhammaDragon ...Zopa and Yeshe are both "easy" to read....both enjoyable.
@Rowan1980 after reading and bookmarking the "Becoming your Own Therapist" (I love it), I've moved on to
@Nerima: If you are interested in Lojong slogan practice (or Seven-Point Mind Training), some other excellent books are: Chögyam Trungpa's "Training the Mind," Pema Chödrön's "Start where you are" and Thupten Jinpa's huge volume "Mind Training."
I understand Allan Wallace has an excellent book on mind training but I have not been able to read it, yet.
Tricycle magazine has been publishing each slogan, commented by Judith Leif, who has edited Chögyam Trungpa's books, but you have to become a supporting member to be able to read slogan #13 onwards.
Wisdom Publications has these very fantastic dharma books, really.
"The Kindness of Others" is pure gold.
