Hello!
Does anyone know of any ongoing projects where people are putting the words of sutras or teachings to music?
Have been thinking about doing this for a while.. does anybody maybe have some requests for "songs" derived from their favorite sutra?
There are some translations that are already so lovely and musical, it would be really fun to add some musical accompaniment and get them going.
Once, a dear friend showed me some videos on youtube where people put the syllables of the heart sutra to music so it's easier to remember it. That's sorta where I'd like this to go

Shasta Abbey put many different sutras to music including the heart Sutra. Mostly in gregorean plain chant.
