Candles

I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen one of those candles with an image of a Catholic saint on one side and a prayer on the other. Wouldn't it be neat if there were Buddhist themed candles with an image of a deity on one side and a mantra, sutra passage, or a prayer on the other side?

It's not quite what you're looking for... I got this from the local Red Cross Op shop...As you can see it's not been "enlightened" as yet :D

  • @Shoshin Lol good one and it looks cool!
@lobster I don't think I'll be doing that anytime soon but thanks for the link!

Thinking about candles has me itching to ask a couple of questions for members who have candles on their altars.
    1. Is there a particular color and scent you look for when buying candles for your altar?
    2. How often do you light candles on your altar?

Hi beeswax candles create the softest glow.
I have some gifted vanilla scented tea lights I use aprox once a week, colour is 'wax'.
