Meditations on tenderness

KeromeKerome Love, love is mysteryThe Continent Veteran

Lately I have been meditating on the word tenderness and it’s associated emotion. It seems to me that love is very easy to misunderstand, that there are a range of emotions from physical attraction to what one feels towards children which we all tend to group under the word love. One aspect of that is tenderness.

In a way I find it a true-er description of love, to call it tenderness. When tenderness arises it is quiet, it pads stealthily on it’s socks and it is worthwhile to let it overwhelm you.
