My teacher the dog

So my parents pet dog is a past life connection he’s a temple dog as they are seen as ordained. But until I see human teacher ect I will treat him as a dog but he’s still a gift from buddha a spiritual friend a teacher on life in general not really buddhist practice. But I do view him as a lama anyways. And it’s inappropriate closeness to a lama moms pet dog. But he’s so cute he’s like a human brother . But still he’s a dog in this life nothing more.

    If the dog is a reincarnation, treat him as if he were.
    If the dog isn't a reincarnation, STILL treat him as if he were.
    Better be on the safe side.
    It can't hurt, can it...?
