What's a shiny? I don't think I have one, so false. Wait, true, because urbandictionary says that a shiny is anything super awesome, and I have lots of that around. I have lots of shinies.
False - "despises" is too strong a word..I think all the strips are basically the same after a while, but hey, they can't all be Calvin & Hobbes or Bloom County.
The person below me sometimes wears mismatched socks just because.
True, but I always thought a shiny was a black eye.

False - I've heard that meaning, but I'm thinking it could also (when? I don't know!) mean someone who makes things shiny. As in, literally shiny, or as in awesome (like in Firefly).
The person below me also likes to use "shiny" as an adjective for 'cool' or 'awesome'. ^_^
True
( Hi Love'N'Peace do you mean the worlds in the Chronicles ? we came up with Narnia, Archenland, Calormen,Telma ( not sure on spelling here) and Charn ... that was the easier option from our two questions !!! )

The person below me knows that a "shiner" is a black eye (not a "shiny," as I have previously and unskillfully falsely insisted!)
False
(I don't remember Charn... maybe I haven't got up to it yet- I'm a couple of chapters into the Silver Chair. C.S.Lewis's imagination is quite wonderful and I love his ideas. However, I'm disappointed slightly with how the books turned out. They're an all right read and quite enjoyable (especially the Dawn Treader) and I like the films but if I came up with the ideas I feel I could have done so much more :grumble:)
( Charn was from The Magician's Nephew which is book one in the Chronicles order, not usually the way itn is read though ... and in thinking further this arvo it is actually a city in the book, dead city by the time we learn of it - hence the name like charnel house I have always thought. So maybe a more correct answer would be Underland - which you would know from The Silver Chair ... my son and I have read the chronicles recently too )
False ... my 14 year old would have to answer differently.
The person below me knows a good ya mum joke ... ie " Ya mum is so short she has to slam dunk her bus fare" ( I said a good joke and by the way I am 5ft 2 - and a half !! )
