Some thoughts on life....

State Of Flux
"Life is forever changing, it’s a constant state of flux-
One moment life might feel quite blissful, the next moment it just sucks.
Tis funny how our thoughts change from one moment to the next
From pleasant and easy going, to unhinged and quite perplexed
Change is inevitable so why bother to grasp and cling-
When impermanence is all around, it flows through everything
So if you want to find true contentment instead of the heavy cloak of sorrow
Live in the moments of today ... not of yesterday or tomorrow !"

"Sabba dhamma nalam abhinivesaya !" (Nothing whatsoever should be clung to)

May our wheel/s be oiled so that we can go with the flow :)

What are your thoughts on life ?

Just because you are indispensable to the universe does not mean the universe needs your help.

PS. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

In life there is no true and stable ground
    Stand regardless.

    Some say life is this.

    Others say it's like this.

I'd opt for the latter, in which case, the little card indicating the fillings might be considered dharma.

    @Shoshin

What are your** thoughts** on life ?

    Not much!

What thoughts present , are just postcards of
what an ever widening heart can actually manifest
    of life.

Life is a series of 'nows'.... I don't have enough of them to waste contemplating what to do with them.

There're plenty of "Nows" so you might as well use a few ....stop and smell the roses along the way ....

Some people have their noses in a few too many roses and avoid the essentials.

It's a question of priority and balance....

    My thoughts on life?

We could rephrase that to life's thoughts about itself.

We are not separate from life. We ARE life - mooji

  • I dance.
I dip and move and tap and shuffle.
I slide and trip and cartwheel and fall.

    I dance.

I dance in the midst of multitudes
Each dipping and tapping and tripping
but still I dance. How can I not dance?
To stand still is a dance of non-movement.

Over there a group of people dance with grace and beauty
so I copy this movement, join the line and add the steps to my own.
    It is still my dance.

    I dance on.

Once a woman invited me to dance with her
and we held hands while the tango lasted
and I miss the feel of her hand in mine
    but still I dance on.

    Life is a dance
    because the music never stops
    and so I must dance.

    "People aren't wearing enough hats"

    Indeed.
Wearing different personas: Buddhist, citizen, humorist, unsocial media participant etc is part of this hat check process.

For me finding this potential extraordinary depth in life keeps my head warm, which is cool ... :)
