If you had to pick one quote to live by what would it be?
Comments
"You can decide you want to change something in your life and just wake up the next day and do it" and I really like the simplicity of that. Sometimes it isn't that simple. But, I do think that a lot that we carry around with us is a burden when we can just 'let it go', 'stop doing something', or 'start doing something' without actually needing to over analyse and ruminate.
That line has always stayed with me for some reason.
Pretty much an antithesis of how I seek to live. It's a quote from a video game. Reminds me of how humanity as a whole kinda brute-forces their way through life when it's much easier to just let it be.
I do not have the luxury of remaining on a distracted path."
- Tibetan Book of the Dead
"Dilige, et quod vis fac."
"Love, and do as you will."
To thine own self be true
and it must follow, as the night the day,
thou canst not then be false to any man."
(Shakespeare's 'Hamlet', Polonius.)
I'm not sure who said it but it shows that eventually all of lifes answers will be told at some point so there's no reason to worry about them now.
