if you eat chicken, and especially if you cook chicken for your kids, you want to watch this.

This is from Canada, where we have usually more rules and regulation than countries like USA...

I switched to eating my own meals not with family M-F. I eat rice and vegetables. I do eat some meat at night but in the end I have greatly reduced. S,Su I eat with the family (my mom) whatever is served..

This isn't anything new to me(antibiotics, growth enhancers --steroids, chickens that have been fed genetically modified grain, chickens that have been genetically modified themselves to produce more meat) and it is also why I have chosen to be a vegetarian. It's bad enough that a poor chicken would have been subject to death for me to eat. It's adding insult to injury to make the poor thing suffer the consumption of unnatural materials just to make it more productive beforehand.

the only part that was new to me was the astonishing numbers of super-bugs, resistant to so many antibiotics found in the chickens.
litterally every one of them had super bugs.

Bacteria infections can be nasty.

A tiny nail injury can quickly turn to an order of laying in bed for weeks suffering terrible fevers and symptoms, it can easily kill you as well if they don't react well to antibiotics...

yeah i celebrated my first year as a vegetarian last week. have no intentions of ever going back (i have no merit as i eat delicious food every single meals (thans to my amazing chef of a wife) so it's really not difficult for me, i don't miss anything.)
