    KFC has this thing called a bacon sandwich - two pieces of fried chicken with bacon and cheese in between - and it that isn't enough - there is a krispy kreme + double down that is the aforementioned sandwich - sandwiched between two glazed krispy kreme donuts. Wowee - wowow - wow....

    Either that or the food police are getting bored, and want to have the last laugh by inventing the crappiest possible food combos and making us believe 'hey, it's ok to mix pilchards with custard!'

    all I can say is that my healthy food tastes much better than i can imagine any of this tastes. fresh fruits and vegies, some ice cream with fruit or even yogurt, and then you don't feel like crap

    Ice cream is divine as a treat. I've never thought of it as healthy though? I'm watching the superbowl, I feel like I should be eating something more than carrot sticks haha. Go Brady!!

    The whole thing is just amazing. I am repulsed yet I am strangely hungry now. What is that sauce on top? That looks kinda gross in particular.

    Maybe it's because I'm from Texas and we love fried food...but I like that kfc sandwich ... I have also known people to have a krispy kreme wedding cake at their reception.

    I used to like crispy creme too. Especially freshly made when they had that sign lit up. I am trying to lose weight though and stay off cholesterol medication as I am already taking too many meds.

    Krispy kreme got chased away from Houston. Sucks I miss them. @Jeffrey honey, I understand my husband lost almost 100 lbs...he is 5 feet 11 and weighs 188.. it was difficult for him. He did cardio and monitored calories...no help from drugs...just focus and taking it day by day.

    @Lady_Alison, thanks for the encouragement. I have lost weight since stopping drinking and I changed my diet to low fat/sugar in the past 3 months and have lost 5 pounds. But the thing that gives me hope is that I am not craving rich foods. I am actually hungry for carrots and apples, it's weird. Need to add the exercise though.

    I've thought about trying to get a bar of it just for fun, but was mildly concerned my dog would get a whiff of it and start trying to gnaw on my leg like it was a rasher of bacon.

    No, that's not weird @Jeffrey...when you switch to wholesome food, your body gets used to it and craves it. Then if you eat something like fast-food, your body feels ill. Do some walking, but go alittle longer. It doesn't matter if you walk or run a mile...you'll burn about the same amount of calories.

    But cardio is good for the heart. You know when I meditate, since I have a hard time focusing on the breath...I focus on the,heartbeat...and I just realized, since I just meditated, and this thread...that my heart beat will be with me until I die...that comforts me And I want to take care of it because it's my focal point in meditation.

    I'm actually not a huge fan of bacon... never have been. I only eat it when it is cooked so it is nearly black, burnt almost to a crisp. And then only rarely, as eating it in this manner is the only way I can stand it. And I'm not sure but I think cooking it this way removes some of the fat, since it is really dry and crumbly.
