What one superpower would you have if you could have one?
This randomly came up on another thread and is a question I've always liked to think about.
For me I think it would be the ability for any injury or disease to immediately heal and thus never age either, like a kind of immortality like Wolverine or the cheerleader from Heroes. One could build up knowledge and wisdom and after some time resources wouldn't be an issue as interest or a collection of antiques would give one money. As it is by the time we get enough knowledge or wisdom to be of much use we don't have many years left to use it. Also one could try several different life paths without having to feel like you won't be able to go down another road at some point.
So give yours and give reasons why.

this applies particularly to young idiots who believe they're immortal, and drive around in souped-up cars with no room to sit in because of the speakers, and who cut you up in traffic and give you the finger....
I'd just like to point at them... and their car would just die on them.
nobody else - just them.
and their 'phone.
and their ipod.
and their wii.
and their pc,
and their laptop
and even their bank cash teller machine.
Hah!
Take that captain caveman!
This post brought some frustrations out...
The ability to lose weight and exercise with motivation.
The ability to not grasp to all and any of the above or anything else.
I've always thought telekinesis/manipulating gravity was really cool, but I'd be afraid of it getting out of control somehow and harming others. Same with controlling the weather.
Maybe being able to speak/understand any language fluently. That'd be pretty useful and awesome, and there's not much risk of it being abused/exploited/etc.

First you would obviously create anything and everything that was immediately satisfying. All your deepest fantasies over and over.
then after you done that you would set amazing adventures of voyages threw space and mind bending alternate realities.
upon completing all these eventually you would bend reality to your own current situation with all its problems and hardships, get it? : p
Therefore we must have all been bestowed reality warping powers before and now have all come to the ultimate conclusion to the consensus of modern and everyday reality
That sound very buddhist to me, and make a lot of sense.
Blessings.
that would be the end of a single person's ability to use the forum.
i'd be selective......
There are currently no people on my radar.
....as yet......
I could undo any bad decisions, or relive favorite moments.
....to trump your excellent power....!
I ripped it off Alan Watts. Very Interesting though.
If a useless weapon makes it outside of the bubble (for it would not be a prison) it would never work again and its malfunction will spread like rust to all other weapons it comes in contact with.
It would be like a little commune at first and then when we learn how to live and be nourished both physically and spiritually we would go on quite the little walking meditation session indeed!
Haha , I tell kids in lines to be 'in their bubbles' and when I eed to talk to an adult or just oneperson then i tell kids I am in a bubble until we are done. So maybe now I can explain it as a super hero power and that will get another week of no injuries or extreme loudness going to the bathrooms. LOL
:banghead:
O.K...that's kind of infantile.. and not very compassionate. I would give every wage slave who is dancing as fast as they can to avoid the next decimation, a job with dignity, and security.
To me, as a cop, the feeling of a person's emotions on that level; anger, fear, could bring my job to sometimes a very better conclusion then in the past.
