I want to make a calendar based on Zen Buddhism or just Buddhism in general.
Any ideas ?
What makes a photo, or a painting, or a room design "Zen" ?
I'm thinking for January I could put a pic of Vimalakirti from the Vimalakirti Nirdesa Sutra and a quote from that. Then maybe for February I'll put Bodhidharma and a quote from him. For March I could put a pic of Dogen Zenji and for the rest some quotes from Soto teachers. The problem with that idea is that there aren't too many clear pics of Dogen on the internet and I don't know too many of the famous Soto teachers ...Do you have any ideas ?

Mix them up and you'll have understandings about nothing or a Zen calander that only points to now.
