Bridging suffering with vision
I call suffering when no matter what I do my body feels bad. I still keep metta I think.
I call vision when I feel well and things seem more clear. A great feature of this is self-appreciation as well as appreciation of my teacher and all loved ones in my life.
But it seems so odd that I switch back and forth between these. I am looking for a greater kind of meaning.

Some might say that this demonstrates an understanding of half of this teaching.
Maybe the other half of this teaching is the greater meaning you seek.
Existence and arisings are cyclic and practice (meditation or yoga) may bring up issues for us to overcome.
Dukkha is not some abstract concept. It is present or will come. So will the joys of practice. Just stuff. :wave:
We can also develop positive karma, including the means and inclination to practice. We can attain happiness and equanimity . . . who knew that . . . ?
OK time for my dharma practice immunisation . . . Bring on the Buddhas . . .
OH.....they have been brought!

Jeffrey...since you say, you 'call',
suffering and vision....what happens if you
try not calling at all? Making that distinction?
Or is that the greater meaning part?
Lack of greater meaning?
The experience itself is the meaning.
Good or bad, it is the basic nature communicating with you.
Respect and honor that sacredness as it calls you back to home, which is again the experience itself.
