    For a month or two, my local radio station played a different version of this every day. There are a LOT of different versions. Good song!
    I live in one of those ticky tacky boxes. But I hope I'm not the same.

    @Brian -- Thanks.

    @JamestheGiant -- It is interesting that when listening to the song, almost no one thinks to look in the mirror. It's always the other guy.

    @mettanando ... oh, you know, the usual stuff ... mortgage, family, Buddhism, praise and blame ... the usual ticky-tacky stuff.

    The Showtime series "WEEDS" used one of the older, traditional versions of this song (sung by Malvina Reynolds, circa 1962) for their opening credits theme song on season 1.
    Then they used other people's versions for each season after that... sometimes with a different singer/version for each week's episode. Loved it. (loved the series too, though it ended weirdly) I think all totaled they used at least 8-10 different singers/versions of this song. For the final season, they went back to the original Reynolds' version.
