  • Oh the humanity!

Here I am on an infamous solo YinYana retreat/holiday for the terminally Buddhist.

    It comes with:

    • self catering
    • two HD 3D TV's with porn channels
    • junk food snacks
    • broadband wifi
    • sunken jukuzi bath
    • supply of alcohol
    • Playstation with games
    • one Buddha in the garden, one in the house

I am on day three. So far I have:

    • OD'd on junk food.
    • watched junk TV, porn and drunk too much coffee
    • made an unmindful mess everywhere
    • fell asleep in the bath
    • watched the sky to make sure it is still there
    • did I estimate 10 minutes of meditation this morning

    I iz rubbish Buddhist!

Using the House Buddha as a manifestation of Tara, did prostrations to call on her help.

    OM TARA TUTARE SOHA

    . . . Gosh that was quick:

    • Environment tidied
    • Healthy breakfast to make up for biscuit and sherbet lemon consumption
    • Feeling very compassionate towards a certain demonic cructacean (Yep me!)

    OM TARA TUTARE SOHA

"Gosh" is a nice word, British middle-class style, but now sadly out of fashion.

    Toodle-pip and Tickety-boo.

Likewise. Although I have heard both in the last two weeks. That's the kind of clientele you get in M&S... :D
