@David yes, I have read the Dark Tower several times. Go then, there are other worlds than these! Love them. Also quite enjoyed Eyes of the Dragon. It amazes me the way he can spin stories (well, I feel the same about anyone who writes epic stories) and wind characters from seemingly random books into the big picture. There is so much wisdom in fantasy
I think this part of the question might best be considered as a generic question, rather than as a personal one. In which case I think it might better be rephrased in terms of:
If there is one, What is the Purpose of human life?
For me, this is not at all a crazy question, but is indeed the primary question that any sincere spiritual aspirant must truly ask of herself or himself.
To me it seems abundantly clear that that Purpose is Twofold: to Realize ultimate truth in whatever guise it may come to us (God or Ego-transcending Enlightenment, &c) and to work to bring Joy and aid to our fellow creatures.
That's the only sense I can make of life. Notwithstanding, however, the importance of deriving enjoyment from this is paramount. To be able successfully to pursue this path of Enlightenment, some sort of innate faculty of deriving delight from many of life's moments seems to me to be essential.

Life is a struggle to survive. And there are many lives existing at once but they affects each another.
What is the meaning of life? Is there one?
