Crazy Season midst a Crazy Season

Here in the Good Old USA, this weird season of elections is coming to a final kerfluffery. All the weirdos and wackos are pandering for votes. The Pres still refuses to own up to anything and pretend we are in the best economic boom since Rome took Carthage. In the US, the Covid 19 is claiming almost a quarter of all world wide victims and deaths but "It's China's fault." The Republicans are blaming the Democtats for everything except the Johnstown Flood and the War of the Roses.The Dems are blaming the Repubs for everything except the Great Han-shin Earthquake and fall of Byzantium. Peaceful protesters are being called "Antifa Terrorists" and terrorists are being called "Law and Order Patriots"
We are about to get a new SUPREME against the will of the vast majority of citizens as a "farewell gift" from Sen McConnell and Co.

Yet the Sun continues to rise in the East and set in the West. When this cycle of hissy fits, temper tantrums and mud slinging is over, we will either begin hauling ourselves out of the muck or hunker down for the next round.

    In the rest of the world it is a five-minute segment on the Six O’clock News. But I think most people would agree that Trump doesn’t deserve a second term in office.
