Trans Mission

lobsterlobster Crusty Veteran

In the three jewels we have:

  • Buddha, the transmitting ideal
  • Dharma, the words of ideals unfolded
  • Sangha, the lived trans missionaries

So how best to flow with this precious?

For me it comes down to living or presenting the changing nurture/nature. In other words enabling ourselves and personal environment. Premature transmission is the expression or revelation of our impediments. Others may if sincere gain from our inaptitude but far better to have a real transmission or mindful mingling …

Some share silence, perfect but practical? Which way to head?

I think there is such a thing as transmission, something that establishes a true link between master and disciple. In Zen you might find some people who were adept with this, as amongst the ancient Indian masters.

The most important aspect of transmission is receptivity.

Most of us follow clowns instead of developing genuine capacity …

    Fundamentals always useful

Osho once said about the master-disciple relationship that it was a love affair. And I think that’s true, there were a lot of people amongst his disciples who genuinely loved him.
