Apparently bell hooks passed away today. She was an amazing person who contributed a lot to the progress of society and spiritual maturity. She will definitely be missed by many.

She seemed to successfully combine a healthy Christian and Buddhist practice.
I say healthy because any religion can be little more than a mild affinity or a depth charge. Some in the mid range.
