The very positive environment is ideally created by the sangha.
How do we move towards these seven factors?
Wot no jokes?
In Buddhism, the Seven Factors of Awakening (Pali: satta bojjhaṅgā or satta sambojjhaṅgā; Skt.: sapta bodhyanga) are:
This evaluation of seven awakening factors is one of the "Seven Sets" of "Awakening-related states" (bodhipakkhiyadhamma). The Pali word bojjhanga is a compound of bodhi ("awakening," "enlightenment") and anga ("factor").
Just adding:
Know you will stumble
Know you will face obstacles - some external, some self-made
Know that this is normal
When you stumble, get right back up
Obsticles mean you are advancing.
This came from Wikipedia, right?
Did Osho teach on this?
I thought the topic wanted a slightly wider expansion of the terms… yes, it is from Wikipedia. As far as I know Osho never taught on it. But I have been meeting these factors more in my day to day life recently, some more, some less, and I thought I would have a look at the list.
my take to the seven list
1.be aware
2.seek truth(s) in all dharma gates
3. productive energy to give back/pay it foward
4. joy in the truth of dharma
5. rest in motion to your dharma body
6. effort focus in your be do activity
7. balance your rational and creative mind to regulate the dharma body
...........................................................................................................
8.truth body sambodhi is on another level dont know
the list is in the six parametas
1.generosty is joy of giving.
2.precepts is mindfulness of nonharm
3patience is the investigation of buddha dharma/learn and grow

There I was (a true story) moving as well as any of us can in a generalised direction.

When I became a bodhi - yep it happens to the devoted, even those on other paths. Luckily I had a framework or template to stabilise or earth me.
Then through knowledge, I found the best form of expression widely available was... ah well that is a story for another time

For anyone interested, here is a full playlist of an English-language virtual retreat on the Seven Factors of Awakening - both talks and Q&As.
The speaker is Ajahn Sonna, the Abbot of Birken Thai Forrest Monastery in Canada.
For those audio-only inclined, the same content is available on Spotify and iTunes.
I've been relatively obsessively listening to his various talks, during walks, in bed, and at other times, and can definitely recommend.
Ajahn Sona was my second Buddhist teacher! I still tune in Birken Monastery Livestream from time to time. Thanks. I will re-watch
That's cool, Kotishka!
