Non Narrative Thinking

I came across was fed this idea. Its kind of in line with a growth mindset vs a fixed mindset and CBT. There is a short summary of the idea at the beginning if you're not in the mood for the full thing.

    Interesting. I don’t really experience these as stories, more as “projections of what might happen”, and there are very few negative ones in my life.

    I think what I'm hearing is that you don't hold on tight. So rather than an absolute they're more of a possibility? Perhaps that's what he's really saying, the "non narrative" narratives were still stories, they're just more open and free from the past.
