6 karmic realms

So first off it's the 6 karmic realms and I guess that's mind boggling because I wonder if there are realms where there is no karma?

The Asura and Deva realms are different. The Asura's are jealous of the Gods being ??

Also the Asura's aren't all they are cracked up to be. There's more beings in the bottom than the top and many are called Demons which hurts..

So I know that the Deva's suffer most at the Bardo's saying good bye and going on uncertain winds.

The Humans can practice the dharma because I guess it's a blend of leisure, endowment, and suffering. They have a unique chance to practice the dharma as the Asuras and Devas are trying to create karma to remain or transcend or what have you.

The whole idea of the realms seems odd to me. Who could have explored them, or reported on them? Perhaps it was a teaching device?

Yes, it does kind of go back to older days when it was believed it was more possible for people to have visions, or even travel directly, of these places.

But there is plenty there to view it through a modern lens as a teaching device with everyday parallels. People living in their own mental hell or hungry ghost realm. I see the god and demi god realms as that of billionaires and millionaires, yes millionaires are doing well, but are often still envious of those who have more.
