New Buddhism

lobsterlobster lobsterLondinium Veteran

I am a great believer in New Buddhas or at least Bodhisattvas. How can we add to the available poo? Oops seem to forgot the L. Available pooL

  1. Create mindful swimming
  2. Reduce our ignorance
  3. Practice kindness
  4. Create a small garden pool for the future Buddhas and wild life
  5. Build the temple. They will come.

Hope that is a start. What is your plan?

I will pretend to be a koi carp, in the hope of attracting more Buddha’s…

The development of koi carp is quite a fish tale.

    Ingredients:

    1. Some very olde and traditional Japanese stone houses with people still living in them.
    2. The houses have a drainage system that includs an indoor 'ancient waste disposal unit' for kitchen scraps.
    3. The carp living in the paddy fields or in the melting snows, swim along these open ditches and come into the tiny water pools to be fed. Favourite fish, unusual markings are fed more, so they return.
    4. The proto-Koi did really well in Buddhist Temple pools and these olde terraced housing.

Now they are too valuable to eat unless by tasteless show offs... or hungry Zenniths...

Here is a more detailed recipe:

In China in those days, carp were called horses because they were believed to be the vehicles of hermits and to run in the sky.
