    Indeed.
When a duck waddles like a duck, sounds like a duck, looks like a duck, It is time to stop pondering why some people insist upon calling it a chicken and instead just go feed the geese.

Who or what is the thinker behind this thought?
    Is it consciousness itself ?
    Or just a thought ?

The purpose of consciousness is to experience. To be conscious of sights, sounds, smells, tastes, touch, thoughts, ideas, views, opinions, fears, happiness, love, and hate. Consciousness needs to split to experience things. Hungry ghosts, animals, asuras, heavenly realms, and hells are all experienced.

"Just as an oil lamp burns in dependence on oil & wick; and from the termination of the oil & wick — and from not being provided any other sustenance — it goes out unnourished; in the same way, when sensing a feeling limited to the body, he discerns that 'I am sensing a feeling limited to the body.' When sensing a feeling limited to life, he discerns that 'I am sensing a feeling limited to life.' He discerns that 'With the break-up of the body, after the termination of life, everything that is sensed, not being relished, will grow cold right here.'"

I can relate to that. I still think it's valuable to try to sort out the more reliable and likely from the lesser. But from a place that you never really know for sure, can always learn more, much depends on perspective and some things will likely always be out of reach.

...Had a thought...left it here somewhere...can't seem to locate it..Hmmmm.

We have many thoughts as we wander this vast island, Earth. Some grand, others fleeting like a wisp of smoke in the wind. Such is the mind; such is life.
Don't be afraid to stumble. Don't worry if you occasionally wander off th path - you will never wander too far off. If your path appears to end, not to worry. Take a moment and your path will reemerge, perhaps before you, perhaps very near. Do not worry, the pat is always there. Your thoughts will always be like a butterfly, catching your moment as they flutter through your mind. There for a bit, an intangible moment. then gone.
how beautiful, how strong, how fragile, how amazing.

    Peace to all
