Gil Fronsdale has a teaching along these lines where the analogy is that of sitting on the banks of a river watching boats go by. At some point we become enamored with a boat and find ourselves on board totally caught up in whatever is going on on the boat. The practice of mindfulness is simply hopping off the boat (thought train) when you notice andretaking your seat on the shore.

There are three primary groups fluent in Double Speak
* Politicians
* Lawyers
Televangelists (Pick your grift)
*It can be noted that the string pullers do remain behind the curtain.
While these groups can be quite hazardous to common folk, a bit of salt and a touch if levity can often defuse them as the are alergic to salt and unable to comprehend humor.
Yes, dear folk, the Sun will still rise in the morning and set in the evening,
Peace to all
So…what did y’all think of the Olympic opening ceremony? I loved it! The variety of music and art forms were fantastic. Without the restrictions of a stadium, it was a huge production all over the city with so many creative ideas! The boat entrances were a nice change of scenery!
Go Ghana 🇬🇭. Go USA 🇺🇸
For the first time, I watched all the para Olympic trials and qualifiers! Wow. Nothing makes you feel more inadequate and lazy like watching these bionic humans do the damn thing!

A good video. It serves as a reminder of how much political language obscures and confuses.

If you can make your life an expression of love, you will be undoing the knots of karma in the fabric of existence and raining blessings on those who come after. Whether the karma is “yours” or not doesn’t really matter, the idea of karma which is yours makes little sense in the view of there not being a self (I think). It is just your karma to look after in this life…
