Became mod of beer forum :)

After seven years and the highest post count I have become moderator of a homebrewing forum! This is nice for me because it's something positive to feel good about in light of that I have a mental illness which is limiting for jobs. Like in health care I cannot work because someone else's health is at stake.

It's a much easier job than here because people post there to learn about their hobby and thus there is not much debate just a number of people sharing info. It's just different, I don't know why?

Of course we did have a problem with spammers spamming 500 posts in one day and so forth, it's not busy.. But now we have a new system of approving the first 5 posts or else banning the person if a spammer.

At first I thought you meant here. How tantric that would be . . .
    Alcoholics leave now.

I used to make homebrew, using malt instead of sugar. Gorgeous.
    Should a Buddha Brew?

I will have to forment on that one - no admonishments from the morbidly sober . . .

  • Waant bottles! Must have bottles haha..

Yeah I don't drink much anymore probably had 6 beers this year and probably had 40 drinks last year, I stay on the forum because I love to help people think about their concerns in brewing the beer.

    My great Uncle makes moonshine...lolololol
And my Great Aunt makes fruit wines...the
glass bottles sit along wood plank shelves
againest her kitchen walls. :) The kitchen
    floors squeak.too..haha

My H's family in Ghana, makes a
    fermentation liquid/beer that will
slap you from 100 yards. haha
.... Here he adds different tree barks from
back home to Vodka, and after months,
it turns into some 'manly' drink.

    Sidenote: I don't really drink.
    My stomach gets very angry
    at me.

BTW, @TheBeejAbides, though your post is right-on your name is just a wee bit off for this thread.

  • Kudos kudos Mr J, I would love to homebrew but I don't exactly have a home as such :p I am sat drinking a few homemade white russians though, tasty. My mum is coming here on Saturday and I am so excited, I haven't seen ANYBODY from the west in 3 years!
