Well, it looks like if your visiting Memphis Int. airport, and need
meditation space.....we have it! I was cruising along, main floor....
before security check-in....
before you get to starbuck's, and on the left was a door that said
'Meditation room'. Hmmm? I opened the door, and there is a room with
about 4-5 benches in there.

Do you sit while in travel status?
Could you?? Would you.....in an airport? :)

Cool. I have had quite nice meditation sittings in airports, sure wish the meditation area was more common.

  • It is not a problem for me either way. I use the smoking room.

  • I like to meditate while flying... I always wait till I am on the plane and 32000 feet up.

since I work at the airport I actually use this room quite a lot! We have a bunch of chairs and some Christian Iconography, and an Islam corner with a mat and a compass to show you which way is East.. It's a pretty accommodating setup.

  • Long flights between California and Sydney are great for this.

Why wait for the plane to put your feet up?
I hope to fly while meditating. 32 feet would be excessive (speaking as a decapod).
