Drink Your Tea

VastmindVastmind Memphis, TN Veteran

Drink your tea slowly and reverently,
as if it is the axis
on which the world earth revolves

  • slowly, evenly, without
    rushing toward the future;
    Live the actual moment.
    Only this moment is life.

    Also you can try making the tea over six hours of candle burning . . . here is the quick method . . . only revealed occasionally at tea time . . .

  • To me, tea is a kind of mindfulness trigger. It's color, smell and taste immediately bring me back to the now.

    If you wanna get a glimpse of enlightenment, just look at how the rays of the sunrise make the tea in your cup glow!

    I'm in awe of this poem (?) -- so beautiful.

    So simple and yet full of meaning. <3

    The Japanese tea ceremony includes preparing and serving tea the same way.
