Sacred Spaces

Hi everyone! I was just curious if anyone has a "sacred space" or an Altar and would like to share photos?

I use my Sacred Space for meditation and inspiration. :) it is still and always a work in progress! I clean it weekly (I do not allow dust to collect)

This is just my altar however, i do have countless buddhas around the room. One of my favorites is a framed quote "Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle and the life of the candle will not be shortened; Happiness never decreases from being shared"

I love to surround myself with inspirations from buddhas philosophy, it is a good reminder for me.

A tablet/ipad/phone with a slideshow of pics becomes a portable shrine or/and one can sit outside ...

I've always been sensitive to atmospheres, and seem to pick up something in shrine rooms and churches. Is it just an over-active imagination? ;)

@SpinyNorman I dunno mate, there is a palpable sense of calm and peace in the shrine room at my local Vihara.
