i started reading on the vegetarian discussion, and there's already some major strife happening there. The folks on that particular thread need to refer to the cushion a bit more, i think. I got anxious just reading it! aaaand center.
I think that's just teething problems. I hope the new forum will draw in some contributors from the Dharma Wheel and Dhamma Wheel forums, there are some very experienced people.
Meanwhile I will try to liven things up a bit, it's traditionally the role I have, informally of course.

Its not only Buddhist. It covers Jainism, Hinduism, Taoism, Sikhism and the Abrahamic faiths.
I didn't notice that. I'll take a closer look. It sounds interesting.

I figured I'd join just because of the diversity. I rarely have time to post these days though and I like it just fine here.
I should probably avoid the Abrahamic discussions if I do post.

I've visited all of them.
Heya @RuddyDuck9. Remember not to take any of it seriously. Some folks want to instruct and some want to learn.
That's true, but it takes some time to understand the difference.
Explore and enjoy, stop blaming,
I fail to see anyone engaging in blaming. But what i do see is that experience leads to being quiet and self reflective.
ooh a veritable feast of community! thank you!!
OP, that name, David Snyder, who seems to be the mod or admin, sounds familiar. Is he the one behind Dhammawheel and Dharmawheel, too?
Yes.
It does kind of beg the question, if you already have two Buddhist forums why would you need one more? Is he some kind of collector?
Yes, that's what I was wondering. Why a 3rd forum? To have all the traditions under one roof?
Its not only Buddhist. It covers Jainism, Hinduism, Taoism, Sikhism and the Abrahamic faiths.
