‘We have no idea where the money is going,’ says an attorney bringing the suit against PayPal....
Charitable donations made through PayPal’s Giving Fund platform may never reach their intended recipients, a federal class-action lawsuit filed Tuesday in Chicago has alleged.
PayPal’s charitable platform, which the company says raised more than $7bn in 2016, claims to allow individuals to give directly to “over a million charities”. But only a fraction of those charities actually receive the donations, the lawsuit alleges, because they aren’t registered with PayPal.

uh-oh......
That's nuts. They don't tell them "There are funds waiting, you need to register to receive them" but give them to "someone else" if that isn't done? WTH?
Just another loophole created by someone greedy. Greed is so ugly!
Western Union was sued about 10 years ago, because quite a few clients said the money they'd wired never reached its destination. I only had that problem once, when wiring money through them to Russia, haha--surprise, surprise! But there was a class-action lawsuit; apparently there was a large number of people complaining.
I wonder if that money you sent to Russia went to help.....you know whose election....he shall remain nameless
I kid!
