    Similar things happen in Chinese Pure Land Buddhism on a regular basis.
    For example, this lady achieved rebirth standing up.

    It's great that HHDL has proposed to study this phenomenon. It's one of the few instances where we can place some scientific rigor to Buddhist supernatural claims. If it were shown to be legitimate that would make a big impact.
