yes in tantra is is a special nirvana buddha path.
but even using alchol in my tantra is waining. so for the most part i refrain from intoxicant. one it affects our brain cemestry. beer is sugar base. might develop diabetes. and it kill brain cells.
also as a buddhist you want a clear mind. alcohol impairs judgement. just be smart with alcohl. in my alchol tantra i drink home. i dont go drinking and driving. its just not my addiction alchol. so if people go drinking make sure you have a ride home, an uber or taxi or friend desinated driver. so buddhist advise moderation even moderation is helpful.

this can go hand to hand. earlier our brain body is the vehicle to awaken our life in a more meaningful way. with our mind we create an inner and outer world that align to our karma tendency. my karma what to experience my be state and do state fully in the world.
the buddha advise to do work that has the less stress to you and to others. a less suffering induce job. so buddhist advise not to do profession that cause harm. so we refrain from human and sex trafficing. we refrain from selling weapons of death, guns knifes. there are other list. but the rule of thumb do a profession that is of sevice and benificial to you and others.
buddha knows our world. we still are in the world. and to take care of your living expences is the way of the world. so we balance karma thats mundain, a life a job with spiritual karma of personal growth.
this is aperson opinion. do what you love. its not about the pay but fufill your dream job that gives not only happiness but is meaningful to us.
yes im an artist by nature.i chose landscaping to express my artistic talent. not much too it. being a cook also fulfill my artistic itch. daozen exercise dance is fun. when i retire from landscaping i want to try blues singing. so when im 60 years old i will post my youtube blues. life is an adventure and a chance to play many roles.
in the end, the sky is the limit what jobs you want to try. always build great skill set to improve your chance of being hired
effort is the fuel to 8 method. find your sweet spot on effort. effort is tied to time. when we have time to put the effort in the 8method. put the effort in those component. set a time to do them 1 componet review reflect. with each effort it gets better and better your buddha way becomes. baby steps. efort condition the brain body complex to keep at it. sooner or later its intregated in your life as way of being a living lifestyle.

so in this context put effort to set up time to meditate. just do small step. one minute to breath meditation in the morning will do. and if it helps you extend to 2 minutes.and so on.

brain exercise meditation. brain scan meditation in the 6 sense organ. you can focus on one of the sense organ. meditate its interdependence. brain and the relationship of sense of hearing. in the morning breathe in out focus on the breath. then focus attention to hearing. and meditate the function of hearing. "see' the brain and hearing relation. this is insight meditation. know your brain and body function. or eating meditation. be present and feel taste orgain and how the brain process taste sense. or on the tiolet aware meditation the bowel process. so feel your body meditation, so everday mundain karma is a chance to meditate our brain body complex.
walking meditation. another brain body awreness meditation. breathe normally. focus the mind to the body. with everystep be present. feel the whole body in karma. if mind distracted. use breath awareness. when mind not distracted return to the body walking.
return to the breath. this meditation is my go to meditatiomn practice. if my mind is distracted i would do breath awareness meditation, if brain stress use breath awareness to shift attention from stress to the breath. when the breath awareness calm me down, proceed with the rest of the day.
count the breath in the morning meditation. cout your in and out breath. one breath in, two breath out, sand so forth to 10 count.it help focus and awareness.

7 brain mindfulness
this is worked out our whole life. being mindfull. it is the effort to direct the brain and body toward direct awareness in any given moment. to be present fully in the here and now.
practice mindfullness takes time and effort. a discipline to come back to the breath. with your 6 sense brain and the other 5 sense organ being engage in your state of be and do. see and do what needs to be done.
every day task helps us to exercise mindfullness. in daozen when i do a task i try to be there. to be one with task. like washing the dishes. i try to be present and just do the washing. i slow down feel the water, swerl the water on the plate and be the water and plate. mindfulness becomes focus awareness. im heare. other condition is suspended. and focus on this condition washing the dishes.
and mindfullness exercises memory. retreaving information to recall is work. by the art of mindfullness helps brain memory to recall things to do gets better. i exercise memorry by the budhhist technique pause and reflect. each morning i would pause and reflect what tools i need that. mindfullness later becomes automatice.like a brain bodymemory. now i know what tool i nedd to get. but if a tool i rarely use i need to practice pause and reflect
with practice of the 8 component mindfullness helps orgainise and sttle our buddhist mindset. mindfullness becomes a mental notes.i.e oh dont steal if your presented the opertunity to steal. or dont lie in a situation if ask for an opinion. so mindfullness become mental noteing awarenss.
mindfullness develops instinct. a sense or vibe to a condition. situation heighten your brain senses like spidey senses. you have a sense of a person or situation. this feeling to trust or not trust the person. mindfullness we can read a person .feel them out. and our instinct helps our dicernment process. but takes practice

to help concentration be focus in the task at hand. oh i need to vacum. with effort, just do it, be aware in mindfullness it needs to be done, and do vacuming. im heare. focus and concentrate the art of vacuming.

some thera monks meditate on death or a corpse. but earth is littered with death from roadkill to cementry. i saw my mom dead body before her cremation. honestly it was just is. my hesart know she will experiience the bardo stages and be reincarnate on this earth or on another buddha earth planet. i told my sam e nou i want them home with us our dogstar nou buddha earth. i will find out if sam e. deliver my wish. at the end of the day everyone have to go through the bardo stages describe in the tibet book of the dead. it usually wink, us bodhisattva has gone through it many times. always kept by a buddha for bodhi training.

this can go hand to hand. earlier our brain body is the vehicle to awaken our life in a more meaningful way. with our mind we create an inner and outer world that align to our karma tendency. my karma what to experience my be state and do state fully in the world.
the buddha advise to do work that has the less stress to you and to others. a less suffering induce job. so buddhist advise not to do profession that cause harm. so we refrain from human and sex trafficing. we refrain from selling weapons of death, guns knifes. there are other list. but the rule of thumb do a profession that is of sevice and benificial to you and others.
buddha knows our world. we still are in the world. and to take care of your living expences is the way of the world. so we balance karma thats mundain, a life a job with spiritual karma of personal growth.

this is aperson opinion. do what you love. its not about the pay but fufill your dream job that gives not only happiness but is meaningful to us.
yes im an artist by nature.i chose landscaping to express my artistic talent. not much too it. being a cook also fulfill my artistic itch. daozen exercise dance is fun. when i retire from landscaping i want to try blues singing. so when im 60 years old i will post my youtube blues. life is an adventure and a chance to play many roles.
in the end, the sky is the limit what jobs you want to try. always build great skill set to improve your chance of being hired

effort is the fuel to 8 method. find your sweet spot on effort. effort is tied to time. when we have time to put the effort in the 8method. put the effort in those component. set a time to do them 1 componet review reflect. with each effort it gets better and better your buddha way becomes. baby steps. efort condition the brain body complex to keep at it. sooner or later its intregated in your life as way of being a living lifestyle.
i always say, effort/practice becomes habit. and habit leads to ease. in my daozen practice that is the goal of buddhism stress to ease little stress to anything. you will achieve to daozen effortless effort state. later explain in the 6sambodhi states.
so in this context put effort to set up time to meditate. just do small step. one minute to breath meditation in the morning will do. and if it helps you extend to 2 minutes.and so on.

brain exercise meditation. brain scan meditation in the 6 sense organ. you can focus on one of the sense organ. meditate its interdependence. brain and the relationship of sense of hearing. in the morning breathe in out focus on the breath. then focus attention to hearing. and meditate the function of hearing. "see' the brain and hearing relation. this is insight meditation. know your brain and body function. or eating meditation. be present and feel taste orgain and how the brain process taste sense. or on the tiolet aware meditation the bowel process. so feel your body meditation, so everday mundain karma is a chance to meditate our brain body complex.

7 brain mindfulness
this is worked out our whole life. being mindfull. it is the effort to direct the brain and body toward direct awareness in any given moment. to be present fully in the here and now.
practice mindfullness takes time and effort. a discipline to come back to the breath. with your 6 sense brain and the other 5 sense organ being engage in your state of be and do. see and do what needs to be done.
every day task helps us to exercise mindfullness. in daozen when i do a task i try to be there. to be one with task. like washing the dishes. i try to be present and just do the washing. i slow down feel the water, swerl the water on the plate and be the water and plate. mindfulness becomes focus awareness. im heare. other condition is suspended. and focus on this condition washing the dishes.
and mindfullness exercises memory. retreaving information to recall is work. by the art of mindfullness helps brain memory to recall things to do gets better. i exercise memorry by the budhhist technique pause and reflect. each morning i would pause and reflect what tools i need that. mindfullness later becomes automatice.like a brain bodymemory. now i know what tool i nedd to get. but if a tool i rarely use i need to practice pause and reflect

8.brain right concentration.
the last of brain meditation,concentration. effort gets the brain body complex going. one of my manta is fron nike, just do it. when effort is applied use that motivational energy into focus awareness in mindfullness. effort and awareness helps concentration. it is using brain power to level up your 8 fold practice. the more you you have one pointed focus in conentration 8 fold become align in oneness in be and do. in daozen we call it effortless effort. it just the walk is experientially practice through the years you are the oneness or you is the dharma. youve arrive where the talk is the walk and the walk is your talk. youve arrive the buddha way of living your own buddhist lifestyle.

6 to 8 fold method.
for the most part our reality begins in the brain, the most powerful sense organ. it is where all sense organs the 5 senses is process and retrieve in the mind.
that being the case, to manage, organise our sense of reality i in my bodhi use brain effort, awareness, and concentration to penetrate the four noble observation, and the 8 fold mode of being.
with our mind we interact whats going on in our headspace as it empathize--know--through enternity--meditate-- and be enlighten --this life in out u. hene the three e states.
Calm abiding.
the buddha asscribe the meditative thechnique calm abiding. or tranquility practice. or peaceful state. my daozen technique come to breath. be rest in brain process. i direct the brain be and rest through breath. the brain function normally. let the senses be. but through normal effort, be the awareness of be and just rest the mind from thinking. this is my samatha practice state or calm abiding/tranquility state.
but this is 20 years of buddhist practice. it just a part of my bodhi nature. the new to meditation start small. breath awareness practice. shift focus of brain thinking to brain non thinking by focus on the breath. be the breath. you are the breath. hopefully being aware of the breath your thinking mind slow down and you can abide in rest brain. a taste of samatha meditation or tranquility state.
or earth awareness calm abiding. nature stabilizes me. i connect with little effort, center my be, breathe in out and reach my enternity state and be the calm earth solid and free forming state.
samadhi meditation
this is what the buddha used in his jahana medition in his deathbeath paranirvana state to prepare the deathless state in the bardos my theory oninion.
samadhi is quess it is absorbtion in the 4 jahna(spelling wrong) the technique in move pass infinite space move pass form and no form. stages of calm,bliss, to still be one in bliss. it was this stage he came a buddha. and his death bed he return to his samadhi state of effort, awareness and concentrated absorbtion.
so samadhi practice need a guide a monk to teach you. a tebet guru maybe. im just a natural but my absorbtion is tantra in emptyness by my guru buddha sam buddha tara buddha quan yin my triple jewel wifes.
so balance meditation is develop samatha technique--tranqul mind and samadhi comcentration techniques to develop you bodhi body complex.
now on to 6 mode sambobhi states of the way of the human bodhisattva.

the 4 immeasurables
dao earth quality is in you. 4 immeasurables is boundless like the sky. we can open the 4 quality in us. it is love, joy,compassion, and equanimity.
love is an exchange of mutual respect in the 5 precept.
joy is born out of tranquil peace not being a harm to others.
compassion through love to empathise with others.
and equanimity is the clear headed mind to see and respond to life honestly in the four noble truths.
this boundless four aid the mindset of a bodhisattva mind heart.

as a bodhi life will teach you the dharma in the karma of others. the patience to learn the dharma at your right growth. just be and do the five precept and develop your bodhi loving wise.
be the 4 immeasuable practice, love self and love others as self. the joy in bodhi learning and growing in love and wisdom. this love and wisdom aide our boddhi compassion to assist peoples problem stress/dukkha state. butbeing an even handle mind/equamity we deveop skillfull means to wisely assist.
the patience to be and do at your own level. and dont compare yourselve to others. the patient resolve in your be and do state is enough through time knowing you will continue be enlighten satori moments or breakthroughs.
