Due to the holidaying, I have been breaking resolutions (before making them to save time).
Also hope to go for regular weekly Catholic confession of my alleged sinning AND then not do the suggested penance. I will also be buying up any souls not being used by wrathful demons for turning into wishes.

The whole country has been fireworks-mad for a couple of days. The kids have been setting off big bangs throughout yesterday and today, it’s been awful for the cats and dogs.
Welcome to the new year, just like the old one, but different...
We usually spend this specific time in a quiet retreat but tonight we are going to a house party filled with Argentinian visitors who are interested in seeing what a Canadian New years party looks like.
I suspect it might be a smidge more energetic that what we're used to.
