(From their new album "Life Turns Electric". I like it so far).
I must say that I worship Beauty. For me, like for Keats, Truth is Beauty, Beauty Truth.
Hellish chords that appeal to many just ain't my cup of Tea, but then, I'm older than Dirt.
Very true. I totally agree with this and will definitely keep it in mind for those times when confusion is upon me.
You don't have to be old to appreciate peace and quiet and slow, soothing music. I also have times when the "hellish chords" as you so well put it, aren't my cup of tea and that's when I seek for more calm and easy-going music.
I guess those hellish chords DO appeal to the darker and thrill-seeking part of me tho, so I just go with what I'm feeling at the moment.
I adore that woman.
(One of my all-time favorite pieces of music, FYI.)

I can't believe! In my country he is close to unknown artist, but I have some of his cd's (I got from abroad). I love the way he sings, the lyrics, his voice.
Warm greetings to all Wainwright's fans

Oh, I just love him! He came here a month ago and did two shows and I went to both of them. He was amazing.

Steven Wilson has achieved Nirvana, and out of compassion started making albums to spread the musical dharma

Don't seem to see to many people playing John Prine. Love his early stuff, especially his first album.
Prine is a national treasure I think. I love his duets with Iris Dement.
Honestly I'm only really familiar with stuff from his first decade, as that's what I heard (from my parents) growing up.
Here you go, Dement and Prine singing 'In Spite of Ourselves':
