@Mountains, funny you should mention that, I wake each day with a song in my head, it never fails. Could be an old one or a new one, but that's how I start my day. Years now.
Some days it's so bad that I have to go to YouTube to play that song just to get it out of my head, or sometimes it's a refrain and I cannot remember it all,so I Google the lyrics. Wonder how many other people have this phenomenon.
Shostakovich's 6th symphony by the Leningrad Philharmonic. It must be the weather. Overcast and chilly with the promise of snow in the air and mulled cider in the kitchen. The smell of rotting leaves and hardwood smoke. I love this time of year.
Slowly digging into Billy's current incarnation of the Pumpkins. Like what I hear so far. I remember the Mellon Collie set took a while to sink in too. Other than that, Gary Clark Jr, Korn, 80's hair bands...
On the way to work...usually Barry White, or Keith Sweat, old love grooves! While at work...definetly funk or Bob. Sometimes musicals..haha Depends on my mood. On the way home...turn off radio. Quiet time in the car. Metta Mobile! At home.....my 16 yr old is re-playing Taylor Swift alot, after that I really like radio and local stuff here in Memphis. The music downtown is amazing!
