Where Do All Of You Work?

So I guess that means I'll have to learn about sleeping less than I do right now, so that I can more appropriately emulate this rather unhealthy-looking aspect.

Right now I am an adolescent high school student neglecting his duty to be concerned with extracurricular activities.
Me. Well I'm a "retired" computer systems analyst. Turned real estate investor. Turned very very poor guy.
For the last couple of years my job has been to help people on their travels.
I work as a guest services agent in a hotel. Doesn't pay much, but that's ok. Money does not buy happiness.
I work the late late shift and I get to see all kinds of people in different circumstances. Of course they all have one thing in common, they are away from home.
Sometimes when I am checking them in I will ask - "Have you journeyed far to get to our hotel tonight?" Most of the people will tell me of their home town or where they spent last night or the ordeal of their day. Occasionally they will think, smile, and just say "Yes."
I'm looking at returning to Uni to do a Bachelor of Ancient History - neck deep in books on Ancient Egypt and Ancient Greece would really float my boat

Right now I am saving money to do a Buddhist Studies BA at Rangjung Yeshe Institute in Kathmandu, Nepal in the next five years or so when I hit age 50.
Mountains, how on God's green earth did you manage to keep shoes for that long? :-)
Thank you!
Where do you work?
Or where are you trying to?
I am not sure what I want to do.
Other then helping people....
Consulting?
Working with children?
Not sure...
My wish would to be able to do something that involves buddhism 100% of the time, yet at this point in time, I don't see the conditions to be heading in that direction. Time will tell if causes and conditions will align with my aspiration in this respect.
It would be good to go back to Uni to study Buddhism formally but as the days of free schooling have fallen by the wayside its enough to earn what's needed just to live.
Cheers, WK
I don't sell insurance, im more in accounting, managing premium payments and what not. Its not bad, but there's no room for creativity. Im an artist at heart love to paint, write, sew etc.
How do you do that?
Balance the time?
but to answer the original question, i am a massage therapist. i just recently quit my second job to put all my energy toward making it as an independent contractor. it's scary and exciting at the same time.
And at night - and in my spare time - i explore consciousness!
I've been in poor health lately, but when I can I also volunteer for Arthritis Care, helping them with leafleting and marketing of the charity's services for people with arthritis. I also help out in an Oxfam charity shop, which I've been doing for many years now.
So I don't work but I'm really busy
