Yeah, I started Lego a couple years ago…now I’m kinda hooked. I started with the botanical sets..and now do the modular/city builds. I like the story telling of the city scenes. My largest so far is the Natural History Museum (4,000+ pieces). It’s the only one I keep up all year and change with the seasons. The rest I treat as mandala art and take down after a couple of months. It’s very meditative for me. I’ve done a couple good free builds too.

I really enjoy it. No money making, no brand deals, never went viral..stuff like that…just a small following. A way to share my Lego builds, dancing with friends, life hacks, things like that. It has kept me feeling youthful and able to relate to my young adult children and my nieces.

I thought I’d talk about the Dutch prime minister, Schoof. Basically after the election there was no one party in control - this is normal in Dutch politics - and the four parties who together had a majority couldn’t agree on who should be prime minister. Each party thought that the leader of the other party wouldn’t be suitable. So together they put a senior civil servant in charge as a compromise candidate. So the prime minister of the country is a man who no-one voted for, but he seems to be doing a fair job.

In English, we say "Can I be a child again?"
But in poetry, we say "take me back to when laughter was endless, and my dreams were bigger than my fears"

The following is dedicated to fire victims and the heroes of the Los Angeles Fires.
-----------------
HOW MANY
How Many
Look at the Moon
Shedding it's light
Upon the ashen
Moonscape below?
How many
Sacrificed to the Fiery Dragons?
From afar
Came the warriors
Of the flames
Fiercely
Relentlessly
Guarding against
The Dragons' fires
So much lost
So much saved
As fiercly
The Dragon Fires roar
Fiercely too
The warriors fight
Blunting the Dragons'
Might
Till the Dragon
Fall to slumber
Or are slain.
And in gratitude
The Warriors are celebrated
Those gallant Warriors
Even as all mourn
Their losses
And the slow
Recovery
begins
For how many?
For how many?
