I would urge you all to read a book called "How To See Yourself As You really Are" by HHDL.
Read it twice

Whether in a spiritual practice or not......
Having sex with anyone who is in a much more powerful position than you, is asking to be abused.
Having sex with anyone who is in a substantially inferior position to you, is setting yourself up to be an abuser.
Only someone in the thrall of their own ego would justify either position.

Everyone is an expression or piece of dharma. So I thought maybe modify one of my photos artistically … each of us has an art form: music, dance, poetry, painting, photography etc … maybe some will share …

This is quite long but hopefully addresses the original question:

To be in the world but not of the world is always going to be difficult.
The world aka samsara beckons.
It is an interesting thing, that practice as a buddhist seems to require a high level of discipline. I remember when I just started my buddhist studies and had a regular practice, and discipline was tricky but I managed.
Now, quite a few years later, I am feeling more natural. If the feeling to meditate comes, then I meditate. But the feeling of discipline has entirely disappeared, I don’t seem to be able to access it anymore. The drive to meditate every morning is gone.
I appreciate the relaxed feeling of being natural. Sometimes I enjoy a little just-sitting.

“Many people dedicate their lives to actualizing a concept of what they should be like, rather than actualizing themselves. This difference between self-actualization and self-image actualization is very important. Most people live only for their image.”

I think one of the major dangers of any school that's faith/devotional in practice, especially when it's leaders/guru or master lack any objective oversight mechanisms, is how poorly able its members can be at recognizing their own cognitive dissidence or cult like behaviors, despite what ever suffering results from it..
