There won't be a defeated Sailor Moon until the inevitable gritty remake where Sailor Galactica kills Sailor Moon right before realizing that what she wanted this whole time was love, not power.

Though repentance burns in her heart, Galactica cannot undo what she has begun, and in the end she sacrifices herself (in doing so, closing a "Galactica redemption sub-arc") to destroy Chaos during the ensuing calamity, plunging the universe into a murky twilight of... not evil, but certainly nothing good.
