Buddhism is not perfect BUT we can move in the right directions with it. We do not have to abandon common sense or personal experience. We can still travel in our own way, with best intentions and attention.
That is worth remembering

They are NOT my words. I cleaned up some of the swearing and made it more reasonable (after all I can reason). It is mostly from a person involved in 'AI' development on Mastodon. They are aware that I have posted it here.
Fair enough. Let me put it like this, all I heard were claims not backed up by anything except ad hominems to make them seem potent.
I hear a series of arguments like that and I tend to question just how valid they are if someone has to resort to that tactic. Plus he just sounds like someone with an axe to grind or an agenda to push.
