The self can't always be trusted...
I knew it! Soon we will not trust the un-self, the emptiness/stillness or even the permanently impermanent.
As I said to the Buddha only this morning, ‘Have a nice day … oh wait no worries, you can't!’
Only one of us laughed.

I can tell you one thing about her. She’s one tough cookie.
Forget any idea you have about her being a chuckling Buddhist granny. I knew her as Deirdre when she was a student of Chime Rinpoche..as was David Bowie. This was before she was a student of Trungpa Rinpoche.
Rub Deirdre up the wrong way and she will (metaphorically) bite yer legs! 😆
She is a very gifted communicator of Buddhadharma.
Jesus Christ, she sure was naughty @how
I like talking to Buddhists about lending money to useful causes, Judaic cults and god killers. As a fishy worshipper, Cod killing usually ends in me battering myself … 😵💫
Thanks for bringing up Buddha bondage. If indeed you did
… and now back to sensible talk …

When baking a cake involving flour, eggs and butter, it is a good idea to melt the butter before making the cake dough. That is all.

Is there a name for that peaceful, clear almost 'high' feeling you get after a really good meditation session?
I get the same feeling after vigorous exercise. I’ve heard it called a “runners high”.
Rarely get it from meditation these days.
Maybe I’m not doing it right?
