He seems to have started playing rounds of golf during Sundays. Good riddance.

This is fun. Problem is, I actually remember the release of the original! (1968! Goodness, I'm old!! )

They use will o' the wisp and active mandrake to suck the life out of the moonstone, then infuse it into the tea leaves on a night of the full moon. Or some night when someone's taken a huge bite out of it, and left a little cheese for anyone else...

"Manure for mango trees."
"Garbage into flowers."
"The lotus grows in the mud."
Time after time the masters have given me clues as to what my dirty, muddy, shitty days might be about. I get it and then somehow I forget it. Over and over...talk about a wheel!
How do they get the essence out of the moonstone and into the tea?
My mother likes the chakra’s. She is 71 so I indulge her. Maybe I will get her some of the tea.

I watched The Avengers: Infinity War. It seemed to me that it was largely empty of thought, just a bunch of heroes trying to save the universe with lots of pretty CG footage. Very little with real pathos.
A few years ago I was walking home and on impulse decided to go see a movie. I bought a ticket to one of the first available screenings, which was one of the Avengers movies. What I did not know was that it was the opening night for the movie: everyone was dressed up in costumes, hugely excited and there was free Champagne!
I was bored out of my mind and left 30 minutes after the start of the movie.
During the day there's always something to laugh about (the funny side of life/living), and I laugh a lot...
Thus have I heard....

Time to suggest a little known Dharma film showing the likely results of choosing this kind of mask over others. I think it was called.....Pulp Fiction?
But do let us know how it goes over at your next family meeting, or church social.
Years ago a well known spiritual magazine invited representatives from all the groups that advertised in it, to an annual thank you party. Once when they decided to make it a costume party, I decided to go, but all I could find around my place that was interesting was old biker gear with a lot of studs and spikes. Not quite as hard core as your mask but they both harkened to the same suggestiveness.
So I come up to a door hearing the general burble of a party within and passed through into a collection of the most syrupy love, crystals and light costumes (obviously their role models & hero's) that you could possibly imagine.
Never did I treasure my anonymity so much as when that party slowly froze into momentary silence upon my entrance until as good Canadians we remembered our moto of "death before embarrassment" and the party resumed again into full swing.
The two main memories of that evening that lasted for me was how free I felt in my complete anonymity while a sea of costumed enlightened seemed to part where ever I wandered
and
the one time in my life when others, who would never have normally paid me much attention, would smile & sidle close as I passed, while slipping a phone number in my outfit with nary a word.
Not only did I realize that I was really not in Kansas anymore but that Kansas might have always just been a figment of my imagination.
