Over here, 16 is the legal age of 'consent'. Before 16, a person is deemed, in law, to be unable to say 'yes' to anything - a truth I have observed in my own children when I would suggest some fun outing to a cold, wet circle of stones with no attendant cafe! The 'consent' thing does, however, apply to sexual intercourse (invented in 1963 but never patented).
Some of the fun has been taken out of the age now that we no longer hang murderers: Derek Bentley was hanged but Christopher Craig, who actually fired the shot but was under 16 at the time, was not. So, turning 16 made a bit of a difference there.
I feel terrible! It's Comicallyinsane's birthday and it seems an age since we heard from him.

Thank you everyone. I have been staying with my dad these days and I have not got the internet up and going yet. I come over to my friend's house to use his. I quit the management program at Dominos and my back is a lot stronger. I am off the painkillers and I am losing a little weight. I went back into driving and transferred back to work at my old boss' store. I am happy and working less. My wife and kids are still in California but my wife is starting some new training to help her career and I am going back to college myself. Everything is going good. I think fate has me and my family where it wants us and we are working on bettering ourselves. I still visit them once a month. I plan on coming back on this site as soon as the internet is back up at my father's house. I have a lot of work to do in the future and my views are constantly changing. You all might be suprised.
