I've wondered that too, @ThailandTom. I am all for good natured jokes and foolery, but so many of them border on criminal vandalism or cruelty that it's hard to see the fun in them anymore. It's always bothered me that doing things that are mean is seen as funny. My family used to regularly poke fun at me when I was a young kid and it hurt my feelings a lot, and I would cry, and then they'd make fun of me for crying. Geez, give a kid a break for not liking being made fun of. And that was my parents! lol thankfully in time they've come to their senses a bit.
