Isn't smoking ganja/hash like drinking beer(s) on the week-end?
We know it's mind altering.... showing up to the
temple high or to church drunk is another matter.
It's not the time or the place.
Mooji is right in suggesting the guy should come
back when he's sober....aka.. when his eyes and
ears are at their clearest.

Believe it or not the aro course (week 16) I am doing, is suggesting meditating whilst drinking wine . . . The reason and suggested experiment makes sense in context, not for recovering alcoholics obviously . . . I may do it - not sure . . . it is just an experiment. I may do it with valerian root instead . . .

I don't think that being on drugs helps one gain spiritual realizations. Having spent a few years using them daily I do think that one positive aspect of having done them is that it loosens a @person's grip on all our perceptions as being so real and solid.
