I'm taking a cue from Jeffrey here :) .....

What's your favorite beverage?

Mine...In the summer, it's diet coke/iced tea....winter is coffee.
Favorite with spirits..... would be margarita or a white Russian.
Jeffrey

  • Hot tea... I'm currently hooked on Harney & Sons' organic bancha green tea.

    I used to love Hakutsuru sake (meant to be served chilled-- very smooth).

    And blueberry juice!

    I gave up all soft drinks and sodas (diet or otherwise) about 3 yrs ago.
    Non-celebratory drink favorites now are fruit-flavored waters, (no sugars or artificial flavors) and coffee with creamers.

    Special occasion spirits;

    Summertime: A tall, cold Bacardi n Sprite, (or cola); a little ice, no lime, please!
    Or a "Long Island Ice Tea".

    Any other time: Home-made Bailey's on the rocks; or...
    Kahlua with cream on the rocks;

    Whiskey; any kind; I've never tasted one I didn't like, though it was the effect I was after. I don't drink it now, so I think it's berry tea.

    Iced tea, plain, no sugar or anything. After a hot summer's day, drinking a nice cold glass of that is very refreshing, it puts a pep in my step.

    I am also a huge fan of Whiskey, all different types. But my favorite has to be bourbon.

    Jasmine tea, white tea(many kinds), tisane(many kinds), Ayran(mint or plain), cold plain (ideally russian) kefir. Bubble tea is always perfect hot or iced depending on the season (I like no sugar and red bean w/ lots of "pearls")

    Drinks with ginger root. I'm a big fan of fresh ginger tea and ginger beer.

    I like two parts hydrogen mixed with one part water with flavouring [no groaning at the back now]
    The flavouring at the moment is a sugar free cordial. Sometimes I offer the drink to any passing astral Buddhas for a bit of added Amrita.

    a new one for me is roasted dandelion root along with lavender, and echinachea tea. of course not all in the same sitting. all as is no sweeteners maybe besides a little honey after it cools down because honeys beneficial awesomeness gets wasted if the water is over 110 Fahrenheit.

    Obviously the two parts hydrogen has one part oxygen, did not get that quite right. Not sure what I am drinking . . .

    Those who don't feel this Love
    pulling them like a river,
    those who don't drink dawn
    like a cup of spring water
    or take in sunset like supper,
    those who don't want to change,
    let them sleep.
    This Love is beyond the study of theology,
    that old trickery and hypocrisy.
    I you want to improve your mind that way,
    sleep on.
    I've given up on my brain.
    I've torn the cloth to shreds
    and thrown it away.
    If you're not completely naked,
    wrap your beautiful robe of words
    around you,
    and sleep.

    On a regular basis, I really like genmaicha or strong coffee with a bit of milk and sugar.

    But things that I've tried and really really like, but don't have too often are Vietnamese-style coffee, teh tarik, and port wine.
