Seeing the Miraculous

JeroenJeroen Not all those who wander are lostNetherlands Veteran

It seems to me that many people today are conditioned into seeing threats and danger everywhere. The news does this in particular, but also modern media like films and tv series and to a lesser extent books. I think it is a bad habit because it keeps you from catching a glimpse of the miraculous if you do meet an advanced soul on the path…

People are less open to receiving each others energy in today’s individualistic society than they were back when I was young, it seems to me.

This recent interview on 10% Happier touched on the phenomenon of receiving others energy.

The title emphasizes the downside, but they talk about all aspects.

Interesting stuff about synchrony. Humans aren’t really meant to be solitary, I think. This is probably why communicating via avatars is also ultimately empty. Good podcast, I’m enjoying it.

The brain is wired that way ...fight or flight ...survival instinct. Always on the lookout for threats like saber tooth tigers....Old habits die hard...

Remaining calm in stressful situations, is a bi-product of meditation practice...

Is to see the self dismantled through awareness...

    Life is miraculous
    Life is mundain
A bird does not behold anorther bird as a thing miraculous, it sees another bird.
We view each moment as mundain, Yet the mundain is the miricle.
And the miricle is the mundain.
    Wonderous!

    Peace to all

I likes miracles. Most of us are one.
As mentioned, it becomes apparent when we still the monkey mind.

We do not need to list them, as they are continuous.
They exist in the space we find for them to manifest and acknowledge...
